Trelawney Maroons, Jamaica

In 1795 and 1796, Trelawney Town Maroons fought against the settlers. At the end of the conflict, although they were undefeated, several hundred Maroons were arrested treacherously, deported to Nova Scotia, and then to Sierra Leone.
