William Unsah Sessarakoo
The son of a wealthy and powerful trader from Ghana, William Unsah Sessarakoo was deported to Barbados in 1744 and redeemed by his father in 1749. The Royal African: or, Memoirs of the Young Prince of Annamaboe was published in London the same year.
